Other nutrients in your formula

Below are additional ingredients that we found are a huge help to overall wellness and health for our clients.

Alpha Lipoic .jpg

Alpha Lipoic Acid is an organic compound found in human cells and helps enzymes turn nutrients into energy.  Research has shown for it to have powerful antioxidant properties due to it being both water and fat soluble which allows it to work in every cell or tissue in the body.  Most antioxidants are only either water or fat soluble.  Some other characteristics that are found in Alpha Lipoic Acid:

  • converts glucose (blood sugar) into energy

  • neutralizes potentially harmful chemicals called free radicals

  • able to recycle antioxidents (like Vit C and glutathione) after they have been used

  • has been linked to benefits like lower blood sugar levels, reduced inflammation, slowed skin aging and improved nerve function.

Cayenne is known to be the pinnacle of mediicinal herbs.  Not only do people use it in cooking, but studies have found the incredible medicinal properties.  Capsaicin is the active ingredient in cayenne peppers and is what gives the peppers their kick.  Studies find that capsaicin:

  • may help boost your metabolism and reduce hunger

  • could possibly lower blood pressure and aid in digestive health reducing your risk of stomach ulcers

  • reduces the amount of stubstance P that your body produces which helps relieve pain

  • may reduce cancer risk by slowing the growth rate of cancer cells

cinnamon.jpg

Cinnamon is made by cutting the stems of cinnamon trees and the inner bark is then extracted and the woody parts removed. It contains large amounts of highly potent polyphenol antioxidants that protect your body from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.  The antioxidants in cinnamon have anti-inflammatory effects, which may help lower your risk of disease.  Some other studies have shown Cinnamon to:

  • significantly increase sensitivity to the hormone insulin which can lower blood sugar levels

  • has antifungal and antibacterial properties, which may reduce infections and help fight tooth decay and bad breath.

garcinia cambogia.jpg

Garcinia Cambogia is very popular in the weight loss world.  It is derived from a fruit, also called Garcinia gummi-gutta or Malabar tamarind.  The peel of the fruit contains high amounts of HCA or hydroxycitric acid which is the active ingredient that studies show to be responsible for the weight loss benefits.  According to some studies Garcinia Cambogia:

  • may suppress appetite

  • has shown to block the production of new fats in your body and to lower cholesterol levels as well as blood triglycerides in overweight people

  • may have some anti-diabetes effects and may also protect against stomach ulcers and digestive tract issues

Ginger is one of the most famous spices in the world.  Not only does ginger have a great flavor, but it is also one of the healthiest.  It is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that give your body and brain amazing benefits.  Ginger is mostly known for:

  • it's high level of gingerol which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant

  • the possibility of reducing general muscle pain and exercise caused muscle soreness

  • reducing symptoms of osteoarthritis and lower blood sugar

  • inhibiting the growth of many different types of bacteria

Ginseng (Panax) is the asian ginseng and is mostly known to produce an invigorating effect.  Ginseng contains to major compounds: ginsenosides and gintonin which compliment one another to provide health benefits.  Some other studies have shown Ginseng to:

  • help reduce inflammation and protect against oxidative stress

  • benefit mental functions - help with calmness and mood

  • strengthen the immune system in people with cancer and possibly enhance the effects of certain vaccinations

  • help enhance physical activity and fight fatigue by lowering oxidative damage and increase energy

resveratrol2.jpg

Resveratrol is a plant compound that acts like an antioxidant and found mostly in red wine, grapes, some berries and peanuts.  Resveratrol supplements have been found to help lower blood pressure by increasing the production of nitric oxide.  Some other studies have shown Resveratrol to:

  • decrease LDL cholesterol oxidation

  • protect brain cells from damage due to the potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound

  • develop better insulin sensitivity and fight complications of diabetes

  • relieve joint pain by preventing cartilage from breaking down

CoQ10.jpg

Ubiquinol (Co-Q-10) is a compound that helps generate energy in your cells.  Your body produces it naturally, but production tends to decrease with age.  Health conditions like heart disease, brain disorders, diabetes, and cancer have been linked to low levels of CoQ10.  Here is what some other studies have shown for Ubiquinol:

  • studies show it seems to help treat heart failure by improving heart function, increasing ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production and limiting oxidative damage

  • seems to help prevent and treat migraines, as it increases mitochondrial function and reduces inflammation

  • exercise performance can be affected by oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction.  COQ10 can help lower oxidative damage, promote exercise capacity and decrease fatigue

  • can help increase insulin sensitivity and improve blood sugar levels and also protects brain cells from oxidative damage and reducing the action of harmful compounds that can lead to brain disease
